Yolanda Goltz Obituary

Yolanda Azara Goltz, 94, of Menahga, Minnesota passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2026, in Park Rapids, Minnesota.


She was born to Maria Azara (de Oliveira) and Juvenal de Sousa Pereira, of Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Yolanda graduated from Scarritt College in Nashville, Tennessee, majoring in library science, and served a few years as a missionary in Malaysia along with her husband, Charles Goltz, who she met in college. Later, she was on the Plainfield, IN library staff for many years. Yolanda loved to garden and do crafts and was active in the Plainfield United Methodist Church.


She was preceded in death by her parents, several siblings, her husband, and her daughter, Sandra Siekaniec (Thomas Siekaniec).


She is survived by daughter Sonia Goltz (Jim Northey) along with two grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.


There will be no public service.
