William “Bill” John Rehm was born on November 2, 1943, in Parkers Prairie, Minnesota. His parents were the late Carol Allen and Lillian (Wettstein) Rehm. Bill graduated from the Henning High School with the class of 1961. On December 1, 1962, Bill was united in marriage with Karen Jane Wark at St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Henning, Minnesota. Their marriage was blessed with four sons: Robert “Bob”, William “Bill”, Brent, and Brad. In 1963, Bill and Karen made their home in Minneapolis where Bill was employed with Hitchcock Industries Incorporated. In 1965, Bill and Karen purchased a farm in rural Henning. Bill farmed until 2001 and then was employed with Mid-Central Equipment before retiring.
Bill enjoyed woodworking, deer hunting, and gopher trapping. He was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan.
On July 31, 2020, Bill passed away peacefully at his home in Henning at 76 years of age. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Preceding Bill in death were his parents, Carol and Lillian Rehm and his sister, Connie (Rehm) Hanson.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Karen Rehm of Henning; his four sons: Robert “Bob” Rehm of Eagan; William “Bill” (Natalie) Rehm of Grimes, Iowa; Brent Rehm of Henning; and Brad (Carmen) Rehm of Plymouth; three step-grandchildren: America, Alondra and Abigail; his sister: Gail Rehm of Alexandria; many other relatives and a host of friends.
