William "Bill" Robert Williams, age 71, of Sebeka, Minnesota, passed away on July 7, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family and under the tender care of Knute Nelson Hospice.
William Robert Williams was born on June 27, 1953 to Robert and Ethel (Jensen) Williams in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He graduated from South High School in 1971 and stayed in Minneapolis accepting a position at Honeywell. He worked there for 13 years.
Though William was born and raised in Minneapolis and a proud city boy through and through he fell in love with a country girl. He and Kathryn Haverinen were united into marriage at the Wadena County Courthouse on May 28, 1998 and settled down in Sebeka. With great pride, William stepped up to help raise Kathryn’s three girls.
William lived a selfless life, loving, and working hard to provide for his family. He was their biggest cheerleader. William enjoyed refurbishing furniture, model cars, going to car shows, watching western and action movies, and playing cribbage with sons-in-law’s and grandkids. He will be dearly missed.
William is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Ethel Williams and sister Sharon Loeffler.
William is mourned by his wife Kathryn Williams; daughters: Amber (Elijah) Brunell, Teresa Ervasti, and Nicole (Andrew) Johnson; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister Roberta (Jim) Hoemberg; brothers: Richard Williams and Thomas (Diane) Williams; and brother-in-law Bill Loeffler.
