William Dodge

William “Donnie” Dodge was born on December 22, 1951 in Columbia, North Carolina.  His parents were the late Cleveland and Rena C. (Cartwright) Dodge.  Donnie grew up in the family business in North Carolina where his family worked the ship yard and a logging mill.  He was married to Susan Jarvey in Virgina Beach, Virgina.  Together they had 3 children and were married for 18 years. Donnie was a general contractor and enjoyed working construction until his retirement.  He currently resided in Wheaton, Minnesota.  Donnie loved turning a wrench on automobiles and had a favorite 1968 Camaro.  He enjoyed fishing, old time love movies and comedies. 

On October 31, 2018 Donnie passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Rochester Mayo in Rochester at 66 years of age.  He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.  Preceding Donnie were his parents, Cleveland and Rena; daughter, Elizabeth; 2 brothers: Tony and Larry.

Donnie is survived by his daughter, Layla; son, William “Dan”; son-in-law, Scott; 9 grandchildren; sisters: Debbie, Lori and Linda; brothers: Rick and Robert; many other relatives and a host of friends.
