Wallace LeRoy Deadrick was born on July 15, 1944 to Paul and Margaret (Aldrich) Deadrick in Wadena, Minnesota. He attended Verndale High School, graduating with the class of 1962. Wally honorably served in the United States Air Force from 1965 to 1968 and worked as a machinist for many years.
On February 1, 1969, Wallace was united in marriage to Sheryl Martin in Webster, South Dakota. Their marriage was blessed with three children: Scott, Stacy and Kristi. Together they made their home in New Hope, Minnesota.
Wallace loved traveling home to the family farm to work on the farmland. He also enjoyed sitting on the tailgate of his truck and spending time with his wife and children.
On February 23, 2020, Wallace passed away at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, Minnesota at 75 years of age. Preceding Wallace in death are his parents: Paul and Margaret Deadrick; sister: Karla Reece; father-in-law: Merlin Martin; and brother-in-law: Allan Nelson.
Wallace is survived by his loving wife: Sheryl of 51 years; son: Scott Deadrick of Wadena; daughters: Stacy (Jim) Fosler of Bertha; and Kristi (Brad) Larsen of Staples; grandchildren: Ashlyn, Matthew, Levi and Andrew; sister: Darlene Nelson; mother-in-law: Doris Martin; brother-in-law: David (Diane) Reece; nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
