Vivian lived in Washington State and Colorado before returning to Henning in 1968, where she was employed at Homecrest as a laborer for many years. She was a devoted volunteer, giving her time to the Henning Clinic, the Salvation Army, and Henning School, where her kindness and dedication were deeply appreciated.
Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Anna Cordes; son, Jon; brothers: Derald, Merlyn, Myron, Lowell, and Virgil; and sister: Luann.
