Tristan George LeComte was born on July 29, 1996 to Jason George LeComte and Sherry Ann Duerr in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. Tristan graduated from the Wadena High School in 2014 where he enjoyed playing basketball and baseball.  After high school Tristan was always interested in the trade business and went to work in the  construction and masonry field. 

In the fall of 2023 Tristan enrolled at the Minnesota State Community and Technical College Lineman Program in Wadena, Minnesota.  During the lineman program, Tristan resided in Detroit Lakes and Fergus Falls as he was also employed with BTD.  Graduating the lineman program in the May of 2025 Tristan was employed with Riley’s, working in northern Minnesota.  Tristan most recently made his home in Warren, Minnesota with his girlfriend, Charlene Mondragon.

He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, cooking and following the Minnesota Wild.  He recently enjoyed a 3 day Minnesota Trifecta in the Twin Cities attending the MN Wild, MN Vikings and MN Wolves games in 3 days.

On May 26, 2026 Tristan passed away unexpectedly at Sanford Health in Thief River Falls, Minnesota at 29 years of age.  He will be dearly missed by his family and forever remembered for his warm heart, gentle spirit and the kindness showed to others.  His love for family and friends were gifts that enriched the lives of those who knew him and will remain a lasting part of his memory.  Preceding Tristan in death was his grandmother, Ann Obrycki.

Tristan is survived by his father, Jason George LeComte of Wadena; mother, Sherry Priebe of St. Joseph; sisters: Sammie Arens of Zimmerman and Madison James of Princeton; Grandparents, Tom and Mary LeComte of Wadena; aunt Amanda (Eric) Wensmann of Wadena; cousins: Angela LeComte and Corbett Wennsman; many other relatives and a host of friends.
