Thomas "Tommy" Edwin Carlson

Thomas “Tommy” Edwin Carlson, 31, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and formerly of Menahga, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly on October 12, 2025, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Thomas was born on August 24, 1994, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Park Rapids, Minnesota, to Dennis Herbert Carlson and Deborah “Debbie” Mary (Haataja) Carlson. He grew up in Menahga and attended schools in both Menahga and Sebeka. Thomas was active in Boy Scouts, enjoyed playing video games, and loved spending time with his family.

Thomas is preceded in death by his mother, Debbie Carlson. May she and Tommy rest in peace.

Thomas is survived by his father, Dennis of Menahga; his siblings Brian (Kari) Carlson of Menahga, Bradley (Jackie) Carlson of Menahga, Brett (Jenny) Carlson of Baxter, Susan (Andrew) DeBlieck of Audubon, and Jaime (Kelly) Etzler of Menahga.
