Thomas A Egeberg

Thomas Arthur Egeberg, 76, of Ottertail, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2026, at Perham Living in Perham, Minnesota. In keeping with the couple’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded, and no formal services are planned for Thomas.

Thomas was born on February 16, 1950, in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Roy & Esther Egeberg. He was raised in South Minneapolis and graduated from Washburn High School with the Class of 1969. Following high school, Thomas attended the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.

While attending the University of Minnesota, Thomas developed a deep appreciation for theatre and the performing arts. He became actively involved in productions throughout the Minneapolis and St. Paul area, as a stagehand and dresser for many of the touring shows that came to town such as, “Phantom of the Opera”, “Chicago”, “The Producers,” “The Rockettes” to name a few.  He was also a dresser for the Mariah Carey World Tour.  

Thomas later made his home in Ottertail, Minnesota with Jeff Schultz. The couple became loyal members of the Ottertail community, beginning in 2000. In 2015, Thomas and Jeff were united in marriage in Fergus Falls, Minnesota.

Thomas will be remembered for his creativity, his love of the arts, and the quiet life he built with Jeff in Ottertail.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory include his loving husband, Jeff Schultz; along with a host of extended family and many dear friends.
