Sonja Hoffenkamp Obituary
Sonja Lyn (Haro) Hoffenkamp was born on August 5, 1974 to Thomas and Dorothy (Thronson) Haro in Wadena, Minnesota. She attended Sebeka High School, graduating with the class of 1992.
On January 20, 1995, Sonja was united in marriage to Scott Hoffenkamp in Owatonna, Minnesota. Their marriage was blessed with three children: Chelsa, Deanna, and John. They made their home in Owatonna for a year and a half, moving to New York Mills in 1996 and Sebeka in 2005.
Sonja loved taking care of her children with her husband. Spending time at home with her family was something she greatly liked to do. She also enjoyed going on scenic drives, owning and taking care of her cats.
On December 5, 2019, Sonja passed away at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is preceded in death by her son: Thomas.
Sonja is survived by her loving husband, Scott; children: Chelsa (Andrew) Pansch; Deanna (Ben) Sjolie; and John Hoffenkamp; siblings: Chris; Lisa; Melissa; Ryan; and Jason; many other relatives and a host of friends.
