Sheri Olmsted, born on February 16, 1962, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at home on July 10, 2026, in Menahga, Minnesota. She was the beloved daughter of Gordon and Lois (Wilson) Olmsted.

Sheri graduated from Menahga High School with the class of 1980 and carried a love for adventure and connection throughout her life. She cherished traveling with friends and found joy in fishing, canning, cooking, and visiting the casino. Sheri also deeply valued her family and maintained close ties with her extended relatives over the years.

Sheri is preceded in death by her parents; brother Kevin Olmsted; grandparents: Harriet and Butch Wilson, Clara (Don) Hendrickson, and Jake Olmsted.

She will be remembered by her son Chase (Jessica Palmer) Olmsted; grandchildren: Aiden, Skye, Easton, Jaxton, Kiara, Isaiah, and Coby; nieces: Nicole (Karson) Frokjer and Jessica Olmsted; great niece and nephew: Olivia and Jameson; significant other of 27 years Frank Engelen; and a host of friends.

Her memory will be treasured by all who knew her. May her legacy of love and togetherness bring comfort to those she leaves behind.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Lakeside Community Church, Menahga, MN at 11:00am with visitation one hour prior to the start of service. Burial will follow at the Menahga Cemetery and lunch at Menahga VFW following the graveside service.
