Sandy Lynn Meidinger

Sandy Lynn Meidinger passed away on November 27th at her home in Oylen. 

She was born on October 4th, 1968, at Wesley Hospital, Wadena MN to Paul and Evelyn Dahlvang. 

Sandy grew up in Oylen and graduated from Staples High School in 1987. She stayed in the area and worked various jobs. On May 30th, 1992, she was united in marriage to Gerald Meidinger Jr.  

Sandy's lifetime enjoyment was everything about the Crow Wing River; swimming, tubing, canoeing, and fishing. 

She also loved to read, bake, dance, and sew and spend time with her family and friends.  

She will be remembered for her good heart, strong work ethic, and doing what she could for her family. 

Preceding Sandy in death are her parents Paul and Eve, Mother and Father in-law Lois and Gerald Sr, and brother Bernard. 

She is survived by her husband Skeeter, son Zack, daughter Shelsy (Mike) Grissom, and her favorite Grandson Keegan. Siblings Carl Dahlvang, Cindy (Curt) Collison, sister’s-in-law Pam Dahlvang, Cindy Warmbold & her brother’s-in-law, Dale, Rodney (Christine) & Clinton Meidinger; numerous nieces and nephews, and best friend Lee Hallett.

A celebration of life to honor Sandy will take place from 1:00 – 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 13th at the Oylen Christian Missionary Alliance Church Dining Hall in rural verndale.
