Ruby (Johnson) Reiter
Obituary
Ruby Ellen Reiter was born to Selmer (Sam) and Irene Johnson in 1936. She went to Country School followed by Henning High School. She worked as a nursing assistant for years in the Fergus Falls area. She met and married Lester Langren in September of 1954, they had 4 daughters, Rita, Rhonda, Rebecca, Renee. They later divorced and Ruby married Franklin (Boo) Reiter on June 21, 1969. Together they had Cary. Boo brought with him three boys, Ed, Bill and Loras.
They bought and operated Boo and Ruby’s Tavern for many years followed by the B & R Dairy Bar for many more years. After which Ruby kept busy with numerous odd jobs, was active in her church, tended her garden and quilted. She loved her grandkids and her kitties.
Ruby is survived by her brothers: Wes Johnson, Duane (Val) Johnson. Her children: Rita (Scott) Albright, Rhonda (Tony) Twedt, Rebecca (Don) Pokrzywinski, Renee Bernard, Cary (Sarah) Reiter, Ed (Violet) Reiter, Bill (Sabrina) Reiter, Loras (Donna) Reiter. Ruby was loved by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Ruby was preceded in death by her beloved husband Boo, her parents Sam and Irene Johnson, Sister Beverly, Brother Lester.
