Robert Anderson, Jr.

Robert James Anderson, Jr. was born on June 26, 1956 to Robert Anderson, Sr. and Mildred (Volker) Anderson in Moorhead, Minnesota. He grew up in Deer Creek, Minnesota, and attended High School. Following high school, Robert attended Minnesota State Community & Technology College in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota where he received education on auto mechanics.

Robert worked as a mechanic, was employed with R.D. Offutt Farms, and was employed as a Security Officer at the Detroit Lakes Mall. Robert lived in Randall, Minnesota before making his home in Wadena, Minnesota for 12 years. He enjoyed fixing cars, and spending time with his family and his cats. Robert was a fan of Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Elvis Presley, and he adored his grandchildren.

On November 21, 2021 Robert passed away at Essentia Health in Fargo, North Dakota at 65 years of age. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Preceding Robert in death are his parents; and his sister: Anna Erickson.

Robert is survived by his daughters: Heather (Jerry) Lamb; Shari Anderson; Jackie Anderson; Amanda (Ben) Mann; Angela (Sean) Lawler; and Amie (Brendan) McMillan; sons: Robert James Anderson III (Shelly); and James (Alicia) Anderson; 18 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters: Sheri (Rick) Rehm; brothers: Steve (Lora) Anderson; Rick (Jennifer) Anderson; and Wayne Anderson; many other relatives and a host of friends.
