Robbie Lee Cummings was born on May 23, 1984, at the Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls, Minnesota to Tony Cummings and Bette “BJ” (Meyer) Herrmann. Robbie was baptized and confirmed at Calvary Lutheran Church in Perham, Minnesota. He graduated from Perham High School with the class of 2002. After high school Robbie did various jobs before recently landing his dream job of driving truck for Larson Helicopters. Not only did he love working around helicopters, he loved the people he worked with.
In Robbie’s spare time he loved spending time with his children and nephews. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time at the gun range embracing his 2nd Amendment Rights and painting his motorcycle, “Tia”.
Everyone who knows Robbie would say he had a big heart, crazy quick wit, a sense of humor which made everyone laugh and maybe even offend a few. Please keep those memories of him alive and share them often.
On November 28, 2024, Robbie passed away unexpectedly at his home in Perham, Minnesota at 40 years of age. He is already dearly missed by his family and friends. Preceding Robbie in death are his cousin, Matthew Baumgart, grandparents: Art & Daisy Meyer and Wayne Cummings; great-grandparents: Orville & Mabel Flatin and Murry & Jean Cummings; aunt, Rita Meyer; uncles: Ron Hamm, Allen Hamm and Joe Meyer.
Robbie is survived by his 3 children: Jordyn Cummings of Las Vegas, Nevada; Madyson Cummings of Fargo, North Dakota and Ryan Cummings of Fargo, North Dakota; partner in crime/significant other, Holly Lehman of Perham; bonus children: Ethan & Maddy Lehman, Mason Monson, Kennedy Monson, Dawson Monson and Carson Lehman; bonus grandbabies: Alohna Lehman and Dean Lehman; mother, Bette “BJ” (Kerry) Herrmann of Richville; father, Tony (Jacki) Cummings of Perham; sister, Kayla Cummings of Perham; step-sisters: Chelsey Herrmann of Moorhead and Ashley Whetzel of West Fargo, North Dakota; grandparents, Richard and Betty Erickson of Fergus Falls; nephews: Liam Wasche, Camden Saurer, Easton Quenette, Kolton Herrmann, Dana Whetzel and Dakota Whetzel; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.
