Raymond "Ray" Hendrickson

Raymond Hugo Hendrickson died on October 16th 2025. Ray was born to Hugo and Mayme (nee Nevala) Hendrickson on September 26th 1938, in Toad Lake township. He was married to Alice Catherine Oja on September 20th 1975 at the First Apostolic Lutheran Church in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Ray was a lifelong farmer and lifelong member of Runeberg Apostolic Lutheran Church. He and Alice made their life's home in rural Sebeka, MN. They were blessed with one daughter, Kathryn Alice. 

Ray was preceded in death by his wife Alice in 2003, his parents, his sister Dorothy Johnson, his brother's in law Donald Oja, David Oja and Ervin Peterson, his sister's in law Marie Hendrickson and Diane Hendrickson, two nieces and two nephews. 

Ray is survived by his daughter Kathryn Torola, her husband Davin and their children - Aili with Gavin Tormanen and their daughter Charlotte of Cokato MN, Liam with Brenna, Shad with Morgan, Elise, Ethan, Eliana, Joseph, Maija, Jacob, and Benjamin Torola, all of the Menahga area.

He is also survived by his siblings and inlaws, all of the Menahga/Sebeka area; Emil Johnson, Peter with Mary Hendrickson, Betty Oja, Mary Peterson with Paul Jackola, Victor Hendrickson, Martha with Gerald Pinoniemi, Russell with Carol Hendrickson, Gladys with Mike Martin, Arnie with Tina Hendrickson, Harry Hendrickson and James Hendrickson. And many nephews and nieces. 

Ray's presence will also be missed by many many brothers and sister in faith, a whole host of relatives, friends and neighbors."
