Randy Leonard Tellock, 59, formerly of Greenfield, MN, passed away quietly in his sleep on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, in Nimrod, MN. Our hearts are breaking, as the past few years have not been easy, he struggled with multiple health challenges and suffered with pain for so long.
A private family interment will be held at Pelican Woods Cemetery, Breezy Point, MN.
Randy was born to Leonard and Charlene Tellock on March 10, 1965, in Brainerd, MN.
He grew up in Wayzata, MN and was a 1983 graduate of Wayzata High School.
Randy was a truck driver by profession, a native Minnesotan, and an avid outdoorsman with a life-long passion for hunting and fishing. He also loved to camp, play baseball, and spend time with his family and friends at the lake.
He had a fiercely independent spirit with the heart of an angel. He was kind, compassionate, intelligent, and oh so very funny! He could make you laugh out loud and so hard that your cheeks and sides would hurt.
He especially loved deer hunting, a long-standing family tradition. Through the years many hunting seasons were spent at the “Tellock Camp” in Nimrod, MN. So many wonderful memories were made while spending time with four generations of Tellock men, his Grandpa Merlin, Dad Lenny, and Son Travis.
He dearly loved and was so proud of his children, son Travis and daughter Anna. He adored his sweet granddaughter, Cedar. And Dana would forever be the love of his life.
We will cherish and remember the good times that we shared and will always keep him forever in our hearts. May he now be at peace and rest easy with his mom by his side.
He will be deeply missed. We love you. Rest in Peace, Randy.
He is survived by; Dana Tellock and their loving children, Travis (Bri) Tellock and Anna Tellock; Granddaughter, Cedar Tellock; Dad, Lenny Tellock; Sister, Tammy (Jeff) Anderson and their daughter, his niece, Kendalle Anderson; many other relatives and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his sweet, beautiful Mom, Charlene “Char” Tellock (DeChaine).
Randy, we hope you are catching the big walleye in the sky and have reunited with your beloved dog, Sammy.
