Phillip Jones

Phillip was born on June 4, 1946 to Varlyn and Myrtle (Miller) Jones in Baldwin, Wisconsin.  He attended high school in Windom & Mountain Lake, Minnesota.  He met Charlene Ruth Worms and together they moved to Menahga where they were married on November 14, 1970 at the Apostolic Lutheran Church. 

For fifty-four years Phil and Char made their home together in rural Menahga.  Phillip was a welder by trade and loved to go hunting and fishing.  He was a generous man and would help anyone out and didn't expect anything in return.

Phillip is preceded in death by his parents, son Jessie Jones, brothers Wayne Jones, Dale Jones, and Bobbie Jones; sisters MaryLou Sharp and Carol Jones. 

Phillip’s passing will be mourned by his wife Charlene Jones, daughter Stay Jones, grandchildren: Shane (Ashley) Jones, Cortney (Wayne) Mack, and Kevin Jones; many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
