Patricia “Patty” May Pederson was born on April 23, 1939, in Pilger, Nebraska, to her parents, the late Glen and Delpha (Burnham) Parady. Pat attended Sebeka High School in Sebeka, Minnesota. On July 22, 1956, she was united in marriage to Raymond Pederson at the Pederson home in Oylen, Minnesota. The couple made their home in Lyons Township, rural Nimrod, Minnesota, where they spent their entire married life together. Their union was blessed with three children: Ricky, Roxanne, and Robin.
Pat was a hardworking woman who wore many hats throughout her life. She worked in construction, managed a restaurant, and bartended at the Nimrod Bar. In addition, she worked on the family farm while raising her family, always putting her loved ones first.
She had a deep love for horses and was an active member of the local saddle club. Pat also enjoyed knitting, quilting, and playing softball. Above all, the greatest joy of her life was caring for her grandchildren, sharing with them her love of animals and nature.
Pat passed away peacefully on Monday, January 5, 2026, at her home in rural Nimrod, Minnesota, at the age of 86. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Roxanne; and her siblings, Orin and Harold.
She is survived by her loving husband, Raymond Pederson; her daughter, Robin (BJ); her son, Rick (Jenny); six grandchildren, Coleman, Tanya, Bryan, Bethany, Brock, and Hunter; and five great-grandchildren, Kyle, Emily, Paisley, Parker, and Maverick.
