Patricia Ann Haman was born on August 6, 1937, at home in Blowers Township, rural New York Mills, Minnesota. Her parents were the late William “Bill” and Hildegard (Geiser) Haman. Patricia attended country school and District #192 in Bluffton Township. She graduated from New York Mills High School with the class of 1956. After high school Patricia was employed at the Bluffton Creamery.
Throughout the years Patricia was employed at area schools in Deer Creek, Wadena, Henning, New York Mills and Fergus Falls. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, genealogy, gardening, and canning.
On September 5, 1961, Patricia was united in marriage with Leo Patrick Waskosky. Together their marriage was blessed with 5 children: James, Thomas (Gee Mei), Nancy, William (Stacy) and Kenneth; 6 grandchildren: Samantha (Josh), Danielle, Jeanne, Nicole (Spencer), Andrew, and Amanda; 3 great-grandchildren: Sebastian, Lucille, and Alroy; siblings: Irene (Jim) Kasal, Ralph, LeRoy (Karen), Robert (Donna), Art (Bev), Jerry (Jo), Arnold (Carolyn) and Darrell (Peggy); brother-in-law Roy Luukkonen; many other relatives and a host of friends.
Patricia passed away peacefully at her home in rural Henning, Minnesota at 87 years of age. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Preceding Patricia in death were her parents: Bill and Hildegard; husband Leo; brother, Lyle (Elma) Haman; sister Joann Luukkonen; and sister-in-law Mary Ann Haman.
