Norma (Bounds) Youngbauer was born on August 6, 1945 to Leslie and Florence ( Weiher) Bounds at Wesley Hospital in Wadena, Minnesota. She graduated with the class of 1963 at Verndale High School where she was also homecoming queen.
Norma met Donald Youngbauer in 1963 and the couple of was united into marriage at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Wadena, Minnesota. To this union four children were born. Norma was a devoted wife and loving mother and a woman of great faith. She was a member of St. Frederick’s Christian Mother’s, serving as their treasurer for many years. Norma was an incredibly kind person and loved to read and tend to her flower garden.
Norma is preceded in death by her parents; siblings: Shirley Allen, Sonny Bounds, Merle Bounds, and Pearl Palmer
Norma’s passing will be mourned by her husband of 58 years Don, children: Andrea (John) Youngbauer, Chris (Kelly) Youngbauer, Brian (Wendy) Youngbauer, and Jeff (Nancy) Youngbauer, 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, siblings: Carol (Duane) Johnson, Ed (Amy) Bounds, Betty (Bruce) Schlupp, Mark (Peggy) Bounds, many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
