Michael considered himself a second Dad to his niece Breanna, sharing a home with her and his brother Brian for much of her childhood. Breanna’s two children, Noah and Braedyn were also very special to him.
He had several employers over the years, including Schweiss Doors, Pride Construction and most recently Arvig Communications (Where he was known to his co-workers as Smokey). For most of his adult life he remained living in the Henning area.
Michael enjoyed many things including his flower gardens, hunting, fishing, his many collections, writing poetry, watching sports, westerns, and car auctions on TV and reading. His favorite and most worn book was his Bible. He was a very spiritual man and had a close relationship with God and an unwavering faith.
