Michael Goodwin Obituary

Michael James Goodwin was born on June 25, 1956 in Elmhurst, Illinois to Bert Lester Sr. and Virginia (Gembeck) Goodwin. Michael graduated from Peotone High School in Peotone, Illinois with the class of 1974. He served in the United States Army where he served in Germany.

Michael was employed as an electrical lineman. Due to an injury at work, Michael retired. He made his home in Wilmar, Minnesota, the Harding Place in Pierz, Minnesota and most recently in Wadena, Minnesota.

On November 18, 2022 Michael passed away peacefully at Fair Oaks Lodge in Wadena, Minnesota at 66 years of age. He will be missed by his family and friends.

Michael is survived by his siblings: Bert Goodwin, Jr.; Susanne Bartruff; Patrick (Diane) Goodwin; Sharon (Ken) Donald; Sandra (Dennis) Vincent and Joseph Goodwin; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
