It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maxine Spicer. Maxine died on December 4, 2024, in New Bloomfield, Missouri.
Maxine was born on July 31, 1949, to Ernest and Audrey (Craft) Olson in Perham, Minnesota. Maxine’s life was all about spending as much time as she could with her family. Maxine loved being a grandma and great- grandma. She was the type of person that could be friends with just about anyone she met. She loved to color and would color pictures for anyone. She was one of the kindest people you could meet. The last job she had was as a dietary aide at St. Mary’s in Detroit Lakes, she enjoyed her job and loved by all the residents in her care.
Maxine’s passing will be mourned by her three children: Scott, Shyan, and Tammy (Paul); grandchildren: Tina, Brian, Erica (Shawn), Krista, Cristian, Kassidy, and Korrine; Great-grandchildren: Dakoda, McKenzie, Ashton, Zoey, Ibrahim, Ian, Izekiel, Kenley, Harper, Atikus and one on the way Maxwell; Siblings: Rick (Brenda) Olson, Patty (Bob) Sanaker, and Mike (Rachel) Olson.
Maxine is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, brother, and great-grandson Logan.
