Maxine Winifred (Jackson) Endres

Maxine Winifred Jackson was born on July 19, 1929, in Watertown, South Dakota. Her parents were the late Frederick and Ida (Marchant) Jackson. Maxine attended the Watertown High School, graduating with the class of 1946.

On April 17, 1947 Maxine was united in marriage to Ralph Olson in Madison, South Dakota. They resided in Watertown before moving to Minneapolis, Minnesota. Maxine was employed as a nurse’s aide and LPN. The family then made their home in Revere in 1965, where they owned and operated Revere Home. In 1979 Ralph passed away.

Maxine moved to Grand Forks where she worked as a part-time retail clerk. On July 28, 1989 Maxine was united in marriage to Delbert Endres. Upon retirement, they made their home in Mesa, Arizona. In 1997, Delbert passed away.

In 2008, Maxine moved to Aurora, Colorado to be closer to her family. Due to health concerns, Maxine moved to Wadena in 2017, and was a resident at The Meadows Assisted Living Facility.

Maxine enjoyed flower gardening, reading, jigsaw puzzles, card games, shopping and traveling. She was a member of Ladies Aid for the Revere Lutheran Church, a member of the Francis Harnack American Legion Auxiliary in Revere and was involved with St. Peter’s Lutheran Church ELCW in Mesa.

Preceding Maxine in death are her parents: Fred and Ida Jackson; first husband: Ralph Olson; second husband: Delbert Endres; son: Robert Olson; brother: Clinton Parliament; and sister: Barbara True.

Maxine is survived by her children: Jeffory (Eileen) Olson of Florence, Arizona; Steven (Tracy) Olson of Sarasota, Florida; Candace (Dale) Ewert of Wadena, Minnesota; James (Jeanna) Olson of Lamberton, Minnesota; daughter-in-law: Sandra Olson of Rogers, Minnesota; step-children: Dennis (Nancy) Endres of Raymond, Minnesota; Ed (Kim) Endres of Farmington, Minnesota; Jim (Becky) Endres of Gilbert, Arizona; Rich (Melinda) Endres of Broomfield, Colorado; Steve (Anni) Endres of Gilbert, Arizona; and Delores (Dave) DuVall of Gilbert, Arizona; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; many other relatives and a host of friends.
