In 1955 Margaret and Gerald purchased the family farm in Compton Township farming hand in hand and raising their family. In 1990, Margaret and Gerald retired from farming and made their home in Deer Creek, Minnesota.
Margaret ran “Margaret’s E-Z Ceramics” from her home where she enjoyed the ladies who came to her classes. Margaret enjoyed gardening and selling at the farmers market. She belonged to the local Homemakers, Garden, and Saddle Clubs and was involved in 4-H when her children were growing up. Margaret was a lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
