Lucy May (Snook) Beach born on Monday, March 25, 1968 to Wilbur and Bridget (Klimek) Snook in the Wesley Hospital of Wadena, MN. She had a total of 9 siblings and she was the 5th child to Wilbur and Bridget.
Throughout Lucy’s younger years she moved several times in the states of Minnesota, North Dakota and Montana with her dad. She eventually moved in with her mother and graduated from the Wadena High School.
Lucy was united in marriage to Mark Beach of Bluffton. They had 3 children: Amy, Manly and Lisa. Amy has 2 daughters: Nora and Leneaya; 2 step-sons: Tyson and Kane.
For employment Lucy drove truck, she was a short woman, standing at 4’ 11”, but that didn’t stop her from driving those big trucks. Some of the places she drove for were RDO and Polman Transfer. She also hauled logs, belly dump trucks for gravel and hauled potatoes for potato harvest.
A lot of us who knew her, knew she had this infectious laugh and smile that would create laughter in the room. She was caring, loving and understanding. She lived a simple life and that’s what she wanted. She will be missed but never forgotten.
On October 7, 2018 Lucy passed away at 50 years of age at her home. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Preceding Lucy in death was her father; sister, Carol and mother-in-law, Pauline Beach.
