Lorraine Pusc was born on June 3, 1926 in Kimball, Minnesota. Her parents were the late Robert and Johanna (Hendricks) Curtis. Lorraine graduated from the Kimball High School with the class of 1944. On August 29, 1946 Lorraine was united in marriage with Leonard “Lenny” Joseph Pusc in Kimball, Minnesota. Their marriage was blessed with 3 children: Gordon, Gregory, and Constance. Together they made their home in Kimball and Sauk Rapids. In 1972 Lorraine and Lenny moved to Perham where they owned and operated a supper and dance club called The Tri Angle. In 1991 they made their home in New York Mills where Lorraine enjoyed working as a teacher’s aide for Head Start in the New York Mills Public School. On March 27, 2005 Lenny passed away.
Lorraine enjoyed playing bingo at the Charles D. Center V.F.W. Post #3289 in New York Mills where she was a proud member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary.
On April 15, 2020 Lorraine passed away peacefully at St. Otto’s Care Center in Little Falls, Minnesota at 93 years of age. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Preceding Lorraine in death were her parents: Robert and Johanna; husband: Lenny; son-in-law: Don; and siblings: Robert, Ethel, Dorothy, Fern and Marvin.
Lorraine is survived by her children: Gordon (Sue) Pusc of Emily; Gregory (Rhonda) Pusc of St. Cloud and Constance Matteson of Little Falls; 5 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 2 step-great-grandchildren; brother: Darrel Curtis of Kimball; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.
A memorial service will be held when in-person gatherings are possible.
