Lois Ann Brockhoff was born on August 19, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois to Lewis and Ann (Wirth) Brockhoff. After graduating Morgan Park High School at age 16 in Chicago, she attended Stanford University where she received her AB. Then went to Duke University where she received her PhD in Clinical Psychology. She served as a clinical psychologist at the veteran’s hospital in Palo Alto, California for more than 40 years.
After she retired, she moved to Grass Valley, California where she was tenderly cared for by Pam Kesler and her family. She died peacefully at her home on April 6, 2020. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Lois is preceded in death by her parents: Lewis and Ann.
Lois is survived by three cousins: Doreen Salvog of Henning, Minnesota; Lois Deets of Fort Meyers, Florida; and Lillian Halvorson of St. George, Utah.
Graveside Services will be held in May of 2020 at St. Paul’s Cemetery in Perham, Minnesota with Pastor Andrew Ratcliff officiating.
