Linda McCann

Linda Joy McCann was born on November 8, 1951, in St. Paul, Minnesota. Her parents were the late Howard and Francis McCann. Linda was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota. She graduated from Washington High School with the class of 1969. 

Linda McCann and Craig Smith were united in marriage on October 2, 1971. They were blessed with two daughters and then in 1986 Linda was blessed with a son. 

She worked at the elders Home as a CNA rehabilitation therapist. 

Linda retired in 2006 to further pursue a career in massage therapy. She graduated with a degree in massage therapy in 2007 from M-State technical college in Wadena, Minnesota.  

Linda was a very active member in her community. She was also an active member of the Sebeka United Methodist Church. She volunteered at the Sebeka food shelf and the vacation bible school and was involved in multiple church organizations. 

Linda was a big Vikings fan and enjoyed gardening, playing games with her family, baking, sewing, quilting, and cross stitching. She loved solving puzzles and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and great grandkids.  

Linda McCann, age 71, of Sebeka, Minnesota, passed away on January 23, 2023. She will be dearly missed by her friends and family. Linda is preceded in death by her parents Howard and Francis McCann. 

Linda is survived by her children: April Smith of Sebeka, MN, Stacy (Joe) Smagacz of Sebeka, MN, and Dillon (Emily) McCann of Little Falls, MN; Ten grandchildren; Eight great grandchildren; siblings: James (Marla) McCann of Rosemount, MN, and Jeff McCann of Cheyenne, Wyoming; along with many other relatives and a host of friends.
