Lauren Morlock

Lauren Morlock, age 74, of Wadena, Minnesota passed away on December 14, 2024, at his home.

Lauren Edward Morlock was born on March 10, 1950, to Harry and Norma (Neumiller) in Carrington, North Dakota. He grew up in Heaton, North Dakota. In 1961, he moved to Staples, Minnesota. Lauren enlisted in the United States Army on November 20, 1969, and served his country honorably until his discharge on March 11, 1972.

Upon his honorable discharge, Lauren made his home in the Twin Cities for quite a few years working as a self-employed boiler man and lawn care provider. In the late 1980’s he moved to Wadena, Minnesota where he worked for the Wadena School System, and on Don Carter’s farm.

Lauren enjoyed woodworking, hunting, and being outdoors. He could fix anything and loved odd jobs. Lauren was known to be quite a character.

Preceding Lauren in death are his parents: Harry and Norma; sister: Nancy Ridley; and nephew: Gene.

Lauren is survived by his siblings: Darla Burke; Janice Jensen; David Morlock; Jimmy Morlock; Russell Morlock; Curtiss Morlock; and Lori (Harold) Huff; 11 nieces and nephews; many other relatives and a host of friends.
