Larry found joy in the outdoors and embraced activities such as walking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and kayaking. For forty years, he made an annual trip to West Virginia to reconnect with his high school friends—a tradition that brought him great happiness.

Larry will be remembered by his siblings: Linda Schallock, Rick (Vicky) Schmitz, Sheila Schmitz, Danny (Donna) Schmitz, Wendy Schmitz, Tim (Deb) Schmitz, Connie Kern, and Cindy Savaloja; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
