Larry Dean Kangas

Larry Dean Kangas was born on April 28, 1962, to Adolph Uno Kangas and Ellen Lillian Matteson in Wadena, Minnesota.  He grew up on the farm east of Sebeka.  He attended Sebeka school.  After Larry left high school, he drove milk truck for a while.  He also worked doing construction and building pole barns.  In the early 90’s he bought the place next to the farmstead; he worked very hard to build the bare land into his dream. 

Larry was an avid hunter and fisherman.  In his younger days he liked fast cars and snowmobiles.  He also enjoyed woodworking, building bed frames, coffee tables, and mini replicas out of stir sticks. 

Larry is preceded into death by his parents; brother-in-law Clarence Suvanto; best friend Myron Lapinoja.

Larry will be remembered by his daughter Rhoda (Wyatt Bond) Kangas; grandsons: Rainier and Slade; siblings: Rick (Shelly) Kangas, Jack (Wanda) Kangas, Judy (Rodney) Bounds, Ray (Cheri) Kangas, Shirley Suvanto, Terry (Nancy) Kangas, Donna (Gary) Ritari, Janet (Wayne) Brasel; good friend Lee Hallet; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
