Kevin Louks Obituary

Kevin Louks, age 69, of Sebeka, Minnesota, passed away on November 11, 2024. Born on May 29, 1955, to Wayne and Marcella Louks, Kevin grew up in the Claremont, Minnesota area. On June 14, 1974, he married Tamara Heggedahl, and they made their home in Dodge Center, Minnesota, where they farmed and raised three children together. Although they later divorced.

Kevin married Evon Carstensen on June 24, 1989, and they made their home in Sebeka, Minnesota, where they farmed and raised six children. They later parted ways and divorced.

Later in life, Kevin married Rebecca Allen, and they made their home in Sebeka, Minnesota. Together, they enjoyed gardening and gathering wood for the wood stove. They enjoyed canning the vegetables from the garden in the fall, which they shared with family and friends. Kevin also enjoyed visiting with his grandkids. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors.

Kevin is survived by his children, including JoAnn (Corey Johnston) of Hayfield, MN, Nick Louks (Erica) of Wadena, MN, Lindsay (Jason) Saxton of Dodge Center, MN, Kyle (Brooke) Louks of Makoti, ND, Justin (Kimberly) of Berthold, ND, Ashley Louks (late Owen) Meyers of Pleasant Lake, IN, Sarah Louks (Josh) of Mishawaka, IN, and Heather Louks (Albert) of Mishawaka, IN. He is also survived by his step-sons, Daken Carstensen (Melinda) of Browerville, MN, and Raymond London of Sebeka, MN, along with 14 grandchildren and 11 step-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother, Marcella; father, Wayne; and brother, Larry.

There will be a private family service in the spring of 2025. Blessed be his memory.
