Judy Moratis was born on February 13, 1959 to Glen and Dorothy (Reul) Albin at Wesley Hospital in Wadena, Minnesota.
Judy had a zest for life and had a deep and abiding faith in God. She read faithfully from her Bible, and shared many hours with her wonderful friends within her Bible study group. She also loved listening to Christian contemporary music.
Judy was a loving grandmother in which she enjoyed spending time with her grandkids coming up with creative activities, telling many stories, fishing, and grooming/loving on her mini horses! She was very outgoing and had a smile for everyone!
Judy loved all creatures feathered and furry! She owned a hobby farm on which she had miniature horses, pheasants, chicken and even elk. Teddy, now 20 years old, was her first of many miniature horses. Teddy and Angel, another miniature horse of hers, were featured characters in the children’s books that she wrote. She spent many a day writing and creating a stunning screenplay in which she was hoping to make into a movie! Judy had many creative avenues she was pursuing!
Judy’s passing will be missed by her children Candie (Curtis) Harris and Billy Ross; 9 grandchildren; siblings: Sue (Rueben) Patson, Linda Swenson, Sally (Calvin) Schultz, and Jason Albin; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Judy is preceded in death by husband Mark Moratis, her parents Glen Jr. and Dorothy Albin, father-in-law Dutch Moratis, grandparents Glen and Alice Albin, and Bill and Catherine Blume, sister Jackie Albin, and nephew Andrew Patson.
