Obituary
Jody Ann Mickelson was born on March 7, 1959 in Parkers Prairie, Minnesota. Her parents were the late Walter Mittag and Lena Mickelson. Jody graduated from Parkers Prairie High School with the class of 1977.
On July 23, 1977, Jody was united in marriage with Dennis Larson at the Leaf Mountain Lutheran Church in Clitherall, Minnesota. They resided in Parkers Prairie and Jody was employed at Finger Hut in Alexandria until they moved to Plentywood, Montana in 1980. In 1982 they returned to Parkers Prairie and lived there until making their home in rural Vining in 1989. Jody was employed as a Nurses Aid at Fair Oaks, New York Mills Elders’ Home and Golden Living Center during her 25-year career.
Jody enjoyed watching NASCAR Races, genealogy, watching the stars at night and raising chickens.
Jody is preceded in death by her parents, Walter Mittag and Lena Mickelson and her step-brother Joe Olson.
Deeply loved, Jody’s passing will be mourned by her husband Dennis Larson; children: Denise Larson, Derek Larson, Jamie Dukowitz and Angie Larson; granddaughter: Scarlett Larson.
