Jeffrey Scott Gienger Obituary

Jeffrey Scott Gienger, age 71, of New York Mills, Minnesota, formerly of Minneapolis, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at Vitality Living in New York Mills under the compassionate care of Moments Hospice.

Per Jeff's & the families' wishes, cremation rites were accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Jeff was born to Duane and Delores Gienger and spent much of his life working as a roofer, a trade he took great pride in for many years. He had a deep love for Harley-Davidson motorcycles, enjoyed fishing, and especially cherished the time spent on the water with his grandson, Joey.

Above all, Jeff valued family and the people closest to him. He will be remembered for his quiet presence, his love of the outdoors, and the special bond he shared with those he loved most, including his beloved dog, Daisy, and his best little buddy, Theo.

Jeff is survived by his brother, Perry (Cheryl) Gienger; sister, Jeanine (Tim) Rosenboom; daughter, Bridgett Gienger; son, Bradley Gienger; bonus daughter, Tanya Anderson (Drew); grandsons, Jonas Gienger, John “Joey” Every, and Theo King; many nephews and their families; and his beloved dog, Daisy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Duane and Delores Gienger.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
