Izabella “Asher” Rose Garcia was born on April 3, 2008, in Las Cruces, New Mexico to Angel and Tracy (Dutton) Garcia. She lived in New Mexico for seven years before moving to New York Mills, Minnesota with her mom and little sister Elizabeth. The family moved to Sebeka and Perham before settling into Frazee, Minnesota. Izabella enjoyed going to school in Frazee and made many friends wherever she was. She liked playing volleyball and was looking forward to the beginning of a new season.
Izabella was a sweet, kind and loving soul. She was quiet but had quite the personality. She enjoyed using her hoverboard, saying: “I don’t have to walk anywhere anymore!”. Social media was a passion of hers as well as drawing and art. Family activities like cooking, camping, and gardening were some of her favorites. She dreamed of becoming a DJ because music was her world, and it didn’t matter the genre.
Her family has fond memories of Izabella; her and her cousins ganging up on G-maMargaret in laser tag, swapping songs and making breakfast in the mornings.
Izabella loved her little sister Elizabeth unconditionally and would always look out for her. She had a pet Ball Python named Leo that she adored.
On Thursday, April 21, 2022, Izabella passed away in her home and heaven gained another angel.
Deeply loved, Izabella’s passing will be mourned by her parents: Angel Garcia and Tracy Dutton; her little sister: Elizabeth; half-brother: Julien; grandparents: Margaret (Richard) Dutton; Martha Zapian; and Santos Garcia; aunts and uncles: Susan (Jerry) Hobbs; Viviane Garcia Griffiths, Sonia Garcia Barron, Omar Garcia, Ramon Garcia, Santos Jr Garcia, Mario Garcia, Corazon Garcia, Carina Garcia; and her cousins: Ruth and Arthur.
