Isaac Malone

Isaac Joseph Malone, age 25, was born December 12, 1996 in North Carolina. Isaac was welcomed into the Malone family by Ron and Eileen and two older sisters Michelle and Gina on January 31, 1997. He was later blessed with two younger sisters, Lacey and Mikaela.

Isaac gave his life to the Lord at a very young age and was very active in his youth-group. He enjoyed many family vacations throughout his youth including excursions to Florida, Canada, and later a father-son fishing trip to Alaska. He thrived while “apprenticing” alongside his father beginning at the age of 4, this leading to co-ownership of Malone Construction with his father. Isaac graduated from Wadena-Deer Creek in 2015, furthering his education at Alexandria Technical College in building construction.

On October 19, 2019, Isaac and his wife Ariel (Sakry) Malone were married. They were blessed with a son Kase (3) and a daughter Thea (1). Their children were the joy of their lives. Isaac, with his father and friends constructed a home for his family in rural Wadena, Minnesota. They enjoyed many family gatherings and cherished time with parents, grandparents, siblings, brothers-in-law, and nieces and nephews.

At a young age Isaac entered into entrepreneurship trapping gophers. He loved spending time outside with his father and friends hunting deer and ducks. He enjoyed playing high school football and wrestling, outdoor sports of snowmobiling and 4-wheeling, and fishing (as a young boy the best thing about fishing was spending time with his father and the treats he packed)!

Isaac was taken from this life in a tragic death April 29,2022. He will be remembered for his bright, kind smile, a good sense of humor, his strong work ethic, and most especially his love for his family. Isaac was preceded in death by his wife Ariel, grandparents Maurice and Barbara Malone, Bernard and Dolores Holecek, and aunt, Judy Malone.

His loving family mourning his death include his parents, Ron and Eileen Malone, sisters, Michelle (Jeremy) Neuerburg of New York Mills, Gina (Robert) Segovia of Wadena, Lacey Malone, Battle Lake, and Mikaela Malone of Wadena, beloved nieces and nephews, many aunts, uncles, cousins, many other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with prayer service at 6:30 p.m. at Karvonen Funeral Home in Wadena, Minnesota.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Karvonen Funeral Home in Wadena with Pastor Jeff Heisler officiating. Pallbearers are: Kodi Dosdall, Jacob Schauer, Aaron Ellingworth, Stephen Holecek, Nathanael Holecek, Damon Tumberg, and Cole Tumberg. Honorary Pallbearers are all of Isaac's nieces and nephews. Isaac will be laid to rest at Wadena City Cemetery, Wadena, Minnesota.
