Obituary
Harry Hanson, age 85, of Henning passed away May 4th, 2023, at Astera Health in Wadena, Minnesota.
Harry was born August 7, 1937 at the family farm in Girard Township, Ottertail County. He was the son of Julius and Lulu (Kimber) Hanson. Harry served in the Army from 1956-1957. He then worked in construction with his father before going to work at Vernon Jensen Construction in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, where he worked for 22 years. Harry enjoyed fishing, hunting, cutting wood and gardening in his spare time.
Harry is survived by his wife of 63 years, Audrey (Whiting) Hanson, brother in-law David Whiting and partner Barb Barth, sisters-in-law Joan (Whiting) Fosse and Viriginia Hanson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding Harry in death are his parents, brothers and sisters-in-law Julian & Ilene, Herman and Bernice, and Anthon and Howard Hanson.
