Gloria Ann Loebrick was born on May 27, 1938 in Perham, Minnesota. Her parents were the late Fred and Vyra (Wessel) Loebrick. Gloria was Baptized on June 16, 1938 and Confirmed on June 1, 1952 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Frazee, Minnesota. She graduated from the Perham High School with the class of 1956. After high school Gloria was employed as a bookkeeper in Minneapolis for a short time.
Gloria met her future husband at Babe’s Resort on Big Pine Lake. On July 12, 1957 Gloria was united in marriage with Dennis Arnold Rader at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Frazee, Minnesota. Their marriage was blessed with 5 children: Larry, Deanna, Donna, Dale and Scott. Together Gloria and Dennis made their home in Spruce Grove Township where they operated their Dairy Farm.
Gloria had a strong faith in Christ and was a long time member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Corliss Township. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Being a Grandma was the greatest joy of her life. Gloria enjoyed gardening, growing vegetables and flowers. She loved baking, canning, dancing, listening to music, quiet walks to the river and whist card parties with family and friends.
On January 13, 2023 Gloria passed away peacefully at River Front on Main in Pelican Rapids, Minnesota at 84 years of age. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Preceding Gloria in death were her parents, Fred and Vyra Loebrick; husband, Dennis Rader; siblings: Adeline Tygart, Wayne Loebrick and Merle Loebrick.
Gloria is survived by her children: Larry (Sue) Rader of Frazee; Deanna (Lawrance) Jepson of Frazee; Donna (Charles) Maves of Frazee; Dale (Natalie) Rader of Bemidji and Scott (Desiree) Rader of Rochert; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren: siblings: Merillyn Davis of Dumfries, Virginia; Ardeen Filibeck of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Joan Galbrecht of Perham; many other relatives and a host of friends.
