Zinter, Glenyce Eileen Age 82 of Brooklyn Park, passed peacefully into heaven on February 22 surrounded by her loving family.
Born in 1939 to Elmer and Selma Becker. Raised in a family of 11 children she often shared stories relating to the size of the Becker tribe.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Herb. Marrying shortly after high school they started life's journey in Fairbanks, Alaska. They called many places home over 63 years together. Pipestone, Cloquet, Maple Grove as well as their last stop in Brooklyn Park. Along the way, they had three devoted children, Rick (Nancy), Jeff (Shari), and Kerry (Michael). Beyond her love for Herb, nothing was more important in her life than her six grandchildren: Ryan, Courtney, Monika, Nick, Kendra and Rachel. Adding to her precious family were three great grandchildren, Peyton, Riley, Arthur and a fourth soon to be born.
Though her family was always her focus, her love of the Twins and Gophers gave her a lifetime of joy. Never an angry word. Always loving support. Loved by all and never forgotten. She showed us all what the words "family" and "love" truly mean. She fought like a warrior and wasn't ready to leave her family but can rest in peace knowing she will always be a part of us.
Heaven is lucky to have her now and she has been returned to Herb's loving embrace forever.
A heartfelt thank you from the family to Dr. Rahmatullah and nurses at Mercy 4Heart. Your compassion will be forever remembered.
