Glenn Fearing

Glenn Allan Fearing was born on January 27, 1951, to Loren and Lois (Horst) Fearing in Wadena, Minnesota. He attended Verndale High School.

On October 11, 1969, Glenn was united in marriage to Edith Putikka at Grace Lutheran Church in Sebeka, Minnesota.  On October 5, 1989, Edith passed away.  Glenn was employed at Homecrest for 32 ½ years as a Lead Supervisor. 

Glenn was united in marriage to Donna (Carter) Mayo on December 13, 1991, in Wadena, Minnesota.

On June 15, 2021, Glenn passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Brainerd, Minnesota at 70 years of age. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Glenn is preceded in death by his first wife: Edith; father: Loren; sister: JoAnne McKane; and grandchildren: Eric and Justin.

Glenn is survived by his loving wife: Donna of Wadena; mother: Lois of Menahga; children: Tina (David) Irish of Wadena; Tracy (Howard) Hatcher of Brainerd; TyAnne (Matthew) Larson of Mapleton; Jill (Art) Mass of Brainerd; Paul (Jen) Fearing of International Falls; Patrick Fearing of Brainerd; and Jodi Fearing of St. Cloud; stepchildren: Dawn Mayo of Sauk Rapids; Shawn Mayo of Wadena; Dana Mayo of Sauk Rapids; and Shane Mayo of St. Paul; 26 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers: Dennis Fearing of Waco, Texas; and Mark Fearing of Perham; sister: Annette (Vern) Lund of Brandon; many other relatives and a host of friends.
