Gladys Erickson

Gladys Ann Erickson, 95, of Sebeka, went to her everlasting home on May 30, 2022.

Gladys was born on April 25, 1927 to Ludwig and Crescentia Nohrenberg in Wadena County. She grew up on their family farm in North Germany Township. On July 29th, 1950 she married Lester Erickson. Six children were born to them.

As a young woman Gladys was a rural schoolteacher in Wadena County. She and Lester ran a dairy farm for many years while raising their family. Later Gladys was employed as a home health care aide.

Gladys is survived by her 5 children, Jim (Karen) Erickson, Robbin Troobnick, Joel (Mari) Erickson, Greg (Mary) Erickson, and Todd (Glennda) Erickson, her 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, an infant son, Jeffrey Dean, her sister Frances Raatikka, and her brother Clifford Nohrenberg.

Gladys did not wish to have a funeral. If friends would like to give a memorial donation in Gladys’ name, her family suggests a gift to her church, Zion Lutheran Church or a charity of their choice.
