Geraldine Miller

Geraldine Mae Platzer was born on May 17, 1935 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  Her parents were the late Thomas and Mary (Pugh) Platzer.

Geraldine was united in marriage to Lester Miller, their marriage was blessed with four children.

Lester passed away on April 24, 1984.

On July 24, 2023 Geraldine passed away at the Crosby Care Center in Crosby, Minnesota at 88 years of age.  She will be dearly missed by her family, friends and the staff at the Crosby Care Center. Preceding Geraldine in death were her parents, Thomas and Mary; her husband, Lester Miller Sr.; sister, Verna (Dodee) Peterson, and brother-in-law, Eugene Peterson.

Geraldine is survived by her daughters: Paula Kowalke, Donna Miller and Debra (Jeff) Gritz; Son, Lester Jr. (Zana) Miller; brothers: Dwayne (Cathy) Platzer and Gene (Ginny) Platzer; 9 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Lunch will be served following service at Ironton American Legion. 

In lieu of flowers donations to Brainerd Lakes animal rescues preferred.
