Gary Michael Reggie was born on March 2, 1962, in Los Angeles, California. His parents were the late Robert Frederick and Lois Marilyn (Barnard) Reggie. Gary attended Westchester High School in Westchester, California. After Gary's father died in 1982, he continued working with his mother at Culver Sandblasting, a family owned business. Gary then ventured out into other avenues with the business and started Absolute Sandblasting and Stucco, while at Culver Sandblasting.
Gary was a very charming person, and his smile could light up a room. However, it was his humor that he was best known for and he loved to make people laugh. Gary was a very kind and giving person.
In June of 2015, Gary made his home in Wadena and then in Fergus Falls. In spite of his health conditions, his humor was always spot on as he would continue to make everyone in his life laugh, even himself.
Gary enjoyed fishing on the ocean and on the lakes in Minnesota. He once had 8 aquariums with various types of salt water fish. He also loved the drag racing days with his father and family. Those were some of his favorite times. He enjoyed polishing the fiberglass dragster body before each race.
He had a soft spot for homeless people, as he struggled at one point in his life. He encouraged people to help others.
During his declining health, his daughter moved from California to Fergus Falls to be near him and provide cares for him. Her deep love and caregiving made it possible for Gary to continue living independently in his home.
On December 25, 2020 Gary passed away. He loved Jesus and even had a tattoo of Jesus on his arm. He will be dearly missed by his friends and family. Preceding Gary in death are his parents Robert and Lois Reggie.
Surviving Gary are his children: Cristine Reggie of Wahpeton, North Dakota; Joey Reggie of Boron, California; Brett Torres of Inglewood, California; Anthony Ulloa of California City; Dominque Ulloa of Boron, California; grandchild: Angel Zamora; and sister: Debbie (Buck) Foster of Wadena; and many other relatives and friends.
