Gary Neuschwander

Gary Dale Neuschwander was born on April 24, 1970, in Wadena, Minnesota to Dale and Barbara (Hill) Neuschwander. He was raised on the family farm and lived there his entire life.  Gary graduated from Wadena High School and then went on to further his education at Staples Technical College studying to be a machinist. 

Gary worked at Douglas Machine as a Machinist for 32 years. He also raised cattle and planted crops on his farm.  Gary's passion was caring for his cows. Gary was a hard worker and as his health declined, he wanted to make sure everything was taken care of properly. 

Gary enjoyed fishing, hunting, joking around with people he knew, and spending time with his family and friends.

On Sunday, July 17, 2022, Gary passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Deeply loved, Gary’s passing will be mourned by his girlfriend Julie Propst, his mother Barbara, his siblings: Scott (Sheila) Neuschwander of New Brighton, MN, Mary Neuschwander of Wadena, MN, Jodi (Dar) Hagedorn of Waconia, MN, and Tracy (Jamie) Sahr of Little Falls, MN, his nieces and nephews: Megan Neuschwander, Ryan Hagedorn, Shelby Hagedorn, Jake Sahr, Anella Sahr, and Adelyn Sahr.

He is preceded in death by his father Dale and his sister Jackie Neuschwander.
