Florence "Flossie" Sanborn Obituary

Florence Carol Sanborn passed away peacefully at Perham Living in Perham, Minnesota.

She was born at home along with her twin brother, Francis, to Claude and Cleora (Leddin) Brown. She went to school at #240 in Dead Lake Township, then attended Perham High School.

On January 14, 1956, Florence married Willard Sanborn. They lived and farmed in rural Richville, Minnesota. After selling the farm, she worked various jobs until finding her place at Perham Memorial Hospital & Nursing Home where she did housekeeping for many years.

Florence was never one to sit still. If she wasn’t at work, she was cleaning house, cooking, gardening, sewing or making crafts of all kinds.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband: Willard; sister, Marie; brothers: Francis and Carlos; and son: Roger Brown.

Florence is survived by her daughter: Derene Johnsen (Ronney Malcolm); stepchildren: Shari (Ron) Gunderson; and Sheldon (Shirly) Sanborn; grandchildren: Jessica, Jodi, Janet, Stacy, Rebecca, Amber, and Dawn; and many, great-grandchildren.
