Evan Steege Obituary

Evan Theodore Steege was born on December 22, 1939 in Fredericksburg, Iowa. He graduated from the Fredericksburg High School with the class of 1957. He met the love of his life, Roselle (Schultz). They had many great adventures in Iowa, Wisconsin, and Montana before settling down in Minnesota in 1982. Evan loved every aspect of beef and grain farming. His favorite pastime was watching his kids and grandkids play sports.

On Monday, April 20, 2020 Evan passed away at his home in Wadena at 80 years of age. He will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Evan is survived by his loving wife: Roselle; children: Adam (Michele) Steege; Peggy (Robert) Daniels; Michael Bolton; Michele Bolton; Melanie Pirruccio; grandkids: Austin (Cassie) Steege, Alexis (Travis) Ostby, Matt Steege, Emma Daniels, Jacob Daniels, Brittany (Jordan) Frisch, Hannah Bolton, Taylor Bolton, Blake Bolton, Tessa Ekum and Tonya Ekum; 9 great-grandchildren; many other relatives and a host of friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held when in-person gatherings are possible. In the meantime, please leave memorials and condolences on Evan’s Tribute Wall.
