Elmer (Buck) Chase, 61, of Park Rapids MN passed away at home on June 14th, 2026.

Buck was born in Baudette, MN on June 15th, 1964. 

Buck spent most of his childhood in Park Rapids where he attended school, played hockey, hung out with his friends and caused plenty of mischief. His later adolescent years were spent in Menahga where he enjoyed riding and training horses with his mom and sisters, Bethel and Darla. This is also when he met the love of his life, Robbin of 44 years and started his family who he was so proud of.

Buck entered the work force as a farm hand at Mostad farms in Osakis, MN. He later began his 30 plus years working as a Union Painter traveling all over Minnesota doing both industrial and commercial painting. He was so proud of all the work he accomplished, the water towers, the bridges. Ohhh, the stories.

Buck then retired in Nimrod, MN where he loved spending all his time with his family and friends outdoors, socializing, side by siding, fishing, and reminiscing. Any extra time he had was spent with his wife, his kids, and his granddaughter, Gracie. 

Buck will always be remembered by his friends and family as a legend of all time.

Buck was proceeded in death by his parents, his sister Kayla and in-laws.

Buck is survived by his beloved wife Robbin, sons Aaron and Adam, daughter Amber (Jonathan), brother DJ (Donald), sisters Bethel, Lynnie, Darla and Trinket (Doris) and granddaughter Gracie.
